牙科援助计划

To be accepted to the 牙科援助计划, you must:

• Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent with a 2.平均绩点0.
• Satisfactory completion of College level coursework, if attempted.

• Complete application for admissions to the Dental 项目助理
• Current CPR/Basic Life Support (BLS) card, which must be maintained while in the program. CPR training can be obtained from the American Heart Association.

To be accepted to the Entry-Level 牙科援助计划, you must:

• Completed application for admissions to the Entry-Level 牙科援助计划
• Current CPR/Basic Life Support (BLS) card, which must be maintained while in the program.  CPR training can be obtained from the American Heart Association or the American 红十字会，医疗保健提供者课程

正畸助理计划

To be accepted to the Orthodontic Assistant 牙科援助计划, you must:

• Completed application for admissions to the Orthodontic Assisting Program.
• Students must provide verification of enrollment in the dental assisting program or RDA license and/or 6 months’ work experience as a Dental Assistant 8-hour Infection Control and 2-hour Dental Practice Act or RDA license prior to enrollment.
• Current CPR/Basic Life Support (BLS) card, which must be maintained while in the program.  CPR training can be obtained from the American Heart Association or the American 红十字会，医疗保健提供者课程.

Enrollment is determined by the applicant pool and the selection process is by lottery 同时遵守所有联邦和州法律.

1  申请入读PCC

If you are not currently enrolled at PCC, you need to apply for admission to the college 除了申请牙科辅助项目. 现向PCC申请 .

Be aware that unofficial transcripts and photocopies of diplomas are not acceptable, and incomplete applications will not be considered in the selection process. If you are accepted into the program, the college’s Records Office will also require transcripts.

The 健康科学 Division will inform you of the status of your application by 提交所有所需文件后发送电子邮件.

Upon selection to the program, you will be required to complete the following requirements:

1. A current CPR/Basic Life Support card for Health Professionals provided by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross must be maintained while in the program. CPR training can be obtained from the American Heart Association and must be completed 在第一天上课之前.
2. After acceptance into the program, submit a completed health questionnaire (provided with acceptance packet) evidencing good health including required immunizations/chest x-ray or Mantoux test 在第一天上课之前.
3. Admission to and continuation in the 牙科协助 program requires you to maintain a grade of C (75%) or better in all required 牙科协助 courses.
4. You must provide your own transportation to off-campus clinical sites.
5. A selected uniform and adherence to the dress code is required (est. cost $500.00).
6. Plan on additional supplies and equipment to be purchased in addition to textbooks 制服(est). cost $1,600.00 and $75.美国残疾人协会的会员费为00美元 第一天上课). This is an estimate all prices are subject to changes per vendor. 
7. Apply for Financial Aid by March 2nd (priority deadline).
8. You must provide your own “patients” to meet the following required competencies: Radiology Full Mouth (4 patients), Pit and Fissure Sealants (4 patients), and Coronal 波兰(3例). 细节将在培训期间讨论.
